NEW YORK, April 2 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar briefly trimmed gains against the euro and yen on Friday after data showed the U.S. economy created 162,000 jobs in March, lower than market forecasts for a gain of 190,000 jobs.
The euro initially rose against the dollar to $1.3563 from $1.3551 before the report. It was last at $1.3555, down 0.2 percent.
The dollar slipped against the yen below 93 yen before rising back up to 94.18, up 0.4 percent on the day.
